ABOUT US

Founded in 1977. Western Region Concert Band is an ensemble consisting of brass, woodwind and percussion instruments. The band has performed with well known artists including James Morrison, Christine Anu, Leo Sayer, Silvie Paladino, Denis Walter, Gina Jeffreys, Colleen Hewett, Normie Rowe, Glenn Shorrock, Mark Vincent, Tripod and Katie Noonan.. Our repertoire is wide and varied from pop, show tunes, classical, jazz and concert band music. Something for everyone!

We rehearse on Saturday mornings and are always looking for new members.

 

Western Region Concert Band acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands on which we perform. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples.
